Gudrun van Rissenbeck brings over ten years of teaching experience to her evolving career, working with both primary and secondary children at a Hongkong International school as well as in Germany. She is deeply passionate about the well-being of her students and a strong advocate for promoting mental health amongst teachers and staff. She believes that fostering a supportive atmosphere and creating a caring community is essential for everyone in any workplace in order to thrive and grow.
As a student of psychology preparing to become a psychological counselor, Gudrun is particularly interested in clinical psychology and the complexities of the human mind. She is striving to understand how feelings, thoughts, and behaviors can either support or hinder personal growth. Her person-centered approach reflects her commitment to respecting and being curious about each individual’s unique journey.
Gudrun holds a Magister Artium (MA) degree in Comparative Literature, English, and Philosophy, complemented by her more than five years as a cultural manager in Berlin. With extensive experience working with diverse social groups, Gudrun is dedicated to creating a safe space for each of her clients, empathically accompanying them on their paths to meaningful change and improved well-being.
